Natsuki intended to audition as a singer, but ended up in the idol division by mistake. Natsuki laughed when Producer tried to scout her as an idol, thinking she didn't have the right image but decided to try it out when she realized he was serious. Natsuki once mentioned that if her old friends heard she had become an idol, they would all be shocked. While Natsuki is open about the fact that typical idol work and girly outfits aren't her usual style, she doesn't mind them and enjoys the challenge of stepping outside her comfort zone. Natsuki often says that no matter what clothes she's wearing or job she’s doing, her rockin’ soul will always be the same. While generally kind and easy-going, Natsuki has a playful side. Natsuki sometimes gets into silly arguments with Takumi, and they have a history of teasing each other when they have had to wear cute or unusual outfits as part of idol work. She has been known to play light-hearted pranks on Riina, like saying her signature hairstyle is just bedhead or making Riina think incriminating footage had been captured of her while playing hockey.
