__Hardness:__ 3 Antarcticite is the gem assigned to winter duty while the others hibernate. Due to their crystal composition, Antarc "sleeps" in liquid form when it is above room-temperatures, and re-crystallizes when the temperature drops. The colder the temperature, the harder they become. Antarc is a perfectionist who acts like a soldier, marching and speaking with extreme formality. They are used to working alone, as all the other gems hibernate during the winter. Despite their usual cold attitude, Antarc has a soft side, and they love [Kongou](https://anilist.co/character/123394/Kongou) more than anything, often breaking their usual icy demeanor around him. They do not like to openly show this softer side though, becoming extremely embarrassed when [Phos](https://anilist.co/character/123385/Phosphophyllite) sees them like that.
