Shuuichi Saihara

He is the Super High School Level Detective, or the Ultimate Detective in the English version. In the game, he is voiced by [Megumi Hayashibara](https://anilist.co/staff/95014/Megumi-Hayashibara) in Japanese and [Grant George](https://anilist.co/staff/96072/Grant-George) in English. Shuichi appears to be quite serious and polite, but he is also very timid and lacks self-confidence. Despite his amazing detective skills and superior ability and insight, Shuichi claims that he hasn't accomplished enough to be called a detective, and doesn't think he deserves his Ultimate title as he "only happened to solve a murder case by chance." With his unsure demeanor, he tends to assume that other people can do things better than him, and he comes across as unreliable at first glance. However, he can be stronger when the situation calls for it. He wears his hat to avoid directly looking at others.
