Amano Kinue

(32 in last volume) Amano Kinue is an excellent sales clerk in the futon section of the Echizenya department store. One day, she is transferred to the female fashion on the third floor, where she finds herself lost and barely making any sales. She dresses very plain and doesn't have stylish hair. She does not have interest in clothes and doesn't understand how she can make sales for something not practical compared to futons. Gradually, she improves her fashion sense, and moves to the "buyer" office as Tabuchi's assistant.
