Her father is a fisherman as well, and she carries a stuffed fish named Sabaoli with her everywhere she goes. She has a sort of Captain's Log, which is used for tracking her fishing tallies and catch photos. In the tie in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Nanami is introduced by Kiyora Yanagi.
