Ling Jin

Jin Ling, courtesy name Jin Rulan, is a junior disciple of the Lanling Jin Sect. He is the only son of Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan and the nephew of both Jin Guangyao and Jiang Cheng. Jin Ling is the only living, legitimate child of the Jin clan, and will therefore inherit the position of sect leader after Jin Guangyao. He is also the owner of Fairy, a spiritual dog given to him by Jin Guangyao. ~!His parents died when he was a baby. His father, Jin Zixuan, died during the Qiongqi Path Ambush and his mother, Jiang Yanli, died during the bloodbath of Nightless City, leaving him an orphan at less than two months old. He hates Wei Wuxian for this reason, thinking that he was responsible for his parents' death.!~
