Dan-I Ham

Ham Dan-I is the main character of My Life as an Internet Novel. On the first day of her middle school life, she finds herself in the world of a web novel, where she is the plain childhood best friend and neighbor of beautiful Ban Yeo-Ryeong. Despite her persisting disbelief, she follows Yeo-Ryeong to Ji Jon Middle School, where she meets the Four Heavenly Kings of Ji Jon. Over time, she becomes actual friends with Ban Yeo-Ryeong and the Four Heavenly Kings. Due to also believing that her friends are main characters in a web novel while she is a supporting role, Dan-I often sees herself as an outsider. As a result, she keeps her problems and anxieties to herself, despite her friends asking her to confide in them.
