Jeudi Cortot

The main character of this work. Her real name is Alicia Brendel. Born February 15, 1926 in Salzburg, Austria. Special skill is waltz. She was separated from her parents in an airplane accident, where she encountered Lundi and got the name Jeudi. Jeudi means “Thursday” in French, and it comes from the day when Lundi and Jeudi met on a Thursday in Spring. She lost her memories because of the accidents, which led to the escape of her parents from the Nazi regime. The only thing, which she remembers is the word alpenrose (=alpine rose) that Parrot's Plantin repeats and is related to her memories of her past.
