Misono Kimiyori

Misono is a boy from a minor noble family who enters service at the Imperial Palace due to his family's debts. His goal is first to prevent his sister from having an arranged marriage she dislikes, but he eventually comes to deeply admire the Emperor, Akiko. He works as a student chamberlain, even after he reaches the age limit for that position, due to Akiko's fondness for him.
