Princess Primula

Princess Primula is the heir to the throne of Beazol. When she was a child, her father the king feared she might be poisoned by assassins, so he purchased a slave—Argent, a Basilisk—to be her food taster. Primula grew attached to Argent and became his friend, but later she set him free to live his own life. Through her experience with Argent, she decided she wanted to become strong and be able to defend herself against those who might wish to harm her. It is rumored that Primula isn’t the king’s biological daughter and that she was born through an affair between her mother and another man.
