Otou-san

Father is an older man who agrees to his daughter's pleas to keep the newfound puppy, Happy. Despite having chronic heart issues, he still smokes; it is hinted that his eyesight is deteriorating as well. As Miku grows up, rifts appear in the family due to the father's illness and his detached approach towards their lives, culminating in an impromptu road trip with Happy after his wife demands a divorce.
