Kanne is a third-class mage who graduated from the Academy of Magic. She is childhood friends and classmates with [Lawine](https://anilist.co/character/293727), and the two entered the first-class mage exam together. In the first stage of the exam, she was paired with Lawine and [Frieren](https://anilist.co/character/176754).
