    Biography

    Mei is a former elite track athlete. Following an accident in which she was struck by a fast-moving car, she lost function in her right leg and now uses a wheelchair. She becomes fast friends with [Reiji](https://anilist.co/character/298901/Reiji-Kasumi) and [Getsu](https://anilist.co/character/298900/Getsu-Raisan) after they save her from drunks in the Masquerade, later meeting and befriending [Kei](https://anilist.co/character/298902/Kei-Kakiba) after the boys introduce the two following a major incident.
