The Emperor

The Emperor is a cruel man who aims to control or destroy everything in his path. He is sexually ravenous with many concubines to fulfill all his appetites. He delights in making others suffer, especially Seolha. However, he cannot make love with Seolha because the sight of her scar makes him impotent. This only makes him more angry at her. The Emperor and Muon are twin brothers. When their father, the late emperor, died, some believe that he mistakenly willed the empire away, thinking that he was speaking to Muon instead.
