Patrick Ashbatten

Patrick is a student at the Royal Academy and [Yumiella](https://anilist.co/character/208534/Yumiella-Dolkness)'s closest friend. He is the second son of a margrave and is skilled at battle tactics and wind magic. In the original game, _Light Magic and the Hero_, he was just a background character. Patrick is a sincere, kindhearted, and level-headed person who often acts as the straight-man for Yumiella's antics. After he hears her reject another man by saying she "only likes people stronger than her", he begins to work hard at leveling up every day (even though he knows that Yumiella was only saying that as an excuse). ~!He later gets engaged to Yumiella after becoming the second-ever level 99.!~
