Tanzaburou Toujima

A 40-year-old man who dreams of becoming a Kamen Rider. He earns money from part-time jobs and trains in the mountains, which allows him to fight on equal terms with a bear. He dreams of one day being transformed into Shocker, but when faced with reality, he sells off all of his precious Kamen Rider merchandise so that they won't end up as trash if he dies alone. In the midst of this despair, he visits a summer festival where he encounters a robber dressed as Shocker, buys a Kamen Rider No. 1 mask from a stall, calls himself Kamen Rider, and fights evil. A man who is so passionate that he transforms into Kamen Rider for real.
