Hotaru Morino

Hotaru is a very good-natured student. She always makes sure that the people around her are happy. On the way back from an excursion with her class, she gets into a bus accident. A short time later, the spirit guide, whom she calls Kuro, reveals to her that she is dead. Now it is her task to remove her three soul burdens within 49 days. These represent a mighty test of courage for her, as she has to clear them up with her closest people.
