The leader of Destron (aka Decepticon) forces - a cruel and intelligent strategist who dreams of galaxy-wide dominance with what he describes as "peace through tyranny". His signature alternate mode is a customized handgun, often wielded by his subordinates, most commonly [Starscream](https://anilist.co/character/3913/Starscream). However, in later installments, he adapts a number of other alternate modes, with his second most iconic form being a tank. His signature weapon is the **Fusion Cannon** (融合カノン砲), which he usually wields on his right arm. ~!In many incarnations, following his demise at the hands of his lifelong rival [Convoy](https://anilist.co/character/2409), he is rebuilt by [Unicron](https://anilist.co/character/24374/Unicron-) into his loyal servant, [Galvatron](https://anilist.co/character/15640/Galvatron-), who's treated as a separate character in most continuities.!~
