Uriel

The Archangel of Earth, Uriel is also the Angel of Justice and Death, possessing the rank of Thrones. He reigns over Hades and has dark-colored wings. He was deeply in love with Alexiel, and after sentencing her to her punishment, he went mad with grief and ripped out his own vocal cords as atonement. He is very shy and gentle, feeling bad for condemning souls to Hell. To overcome this, he puts on a mask of anger and cruelty, suppressing his true nature, and often losing his temper. Due to the destruction his causes in Heaven when he is angered, he is not very popular.
