Aki Kidono

Aki is a cold, sarcastic member of the literary club who lives alone in an apartment. Her attitude is largely a byproduct of her being bullied incessantly throughout middle school. Crying over her mistreatment only made the bullies worse, so she started ignoring them and everyone else, telling herself she was better than them and that they couldn't hurt her. She's uneasy in group situations and reluctant to call anyone her friend, but eventually accepts Ryoko and the other literary club members as such. She secretly harbors feelings for Utsume, but is convinced they could never work out. Yomiko refers to her as the "Glass Monster", because she's sharp and cutting with other people, but is actually fragile from being bullied for years and secretly craves love. (Source: Wikipedia)
