[Maka](https://anilist.co/character/8439/Maka-Albarn)'s partner and the male protagonist of the series. Soul is a demon weapon who was born into a family of famous musicians. After discovering his weapon abilities as a Demon Weapon Soul joined the DWMA, where he partnered up with Maka. They often bicker and don't always see eye-to-eye, but in the end they remain partners and close friends.
