Slaine Troyard

__Height:__ 170 cm He is the son of Dr. Troyard, a brilliant scientist researching Aldnoah, and was launched to Mars by his father as a means to protect him. He was found by [Princess Asselyum Vers Allusia](https://anilist.co/character/88175/Asseylum-Vers-Allusia) who took him in and later on became her tutor. After several years of living on Mars, [Count Cruhteo](https://anilist.co/character/88435/Cruhteo) takes custody over Slaine. Slaine is very friendly and loyal towards Princess Asselyum as she was the one who saved him and the first person he met on Mars. He wishes to support her in any way possible and is willing to put his own life at risk in order to protect Princess Asselyum. Towards others however, he acts coldly and does not seem to trust anyone other than the Princess, often distancing himself from both Martians and Terrans. He is always seen with a serious look on his face. Slaine proves himself to be a very capable pilot, able to quickly maneuver around in a Kataphrakt and face Inaho by himself. ~!Count Saazbaum eventually names Slaine as his son.!~
