Harumi is a newbie office worker who's finally fulfilled her dream of living on her own. The only catch is that the place she's renting is a "stigmatized" property with some supernatural activity going on. But moving objects and tapping noises won't keep her from enjoying her new freedom! That is...until she discovers a catboy in festive clothing living in her pad! Turns out his name is "Kurogane" and he's a non-human being called a "Yokai." But human or not, Harumi isn't about to let him freeload off of her and declares that he will have to pull his own weight by helping out with the chores around the house!
