The Search for Alosha

Kay, the quiet deputy captain of the guard in a remote, impoverished village, leads a peaceful and uneventful life - until the arrival of the Grand Duke Zigril shatters his world. Zigril is in pursuit of the legendary Alosha, a rare and mysterious bloom rumored to grant pregnancy to anyone who consumes it, regardless of age or gender. Drawn to Kay in a fleeting moment of desire, the Duke expects their encounter to be no more than a brief indulgence. But as Zigril finds himself unable to shake thoughts of Kay, their connection deepens in unexpected ways. Soon, at the Duke's command, Kay is entrusted with the dangerous task of guiding him to the distant city of Edor. Along the way Kay begins to realize that there may be far more at stake than just the mythical flower. What will they discover on this perilous journey - and what does Zigril truly want?
